With year-round outdoor programs and classes, summer camps, and sports leagues, there aren't enough days in the year to experience everything the Spring Hill Recreation Commission has to offer!

For those interested in a world-class golfing experience, nearby Sycamore Ridge Golf Course is one of the nation’s most highly acclaimed and sought-after courses for casual enthusiasts and pros alike. There are also several locations for boating, swimming and fishing in the area. A local favorite is Hillsdale Lake where you can find the Jayhawk Marina, providing covered docks and 163 boat slips. Public Education

The Spring Hill United School District 230 has continued to perform exceptionally well in state assessment tests, exceeding state targets in mathematics and reading. All Spring Hill schools have received the Kansas Standard of Excellence Award. Nearby Johnson County Community College provides vocational training for high school graduates and adult workers retraining for new fields, offers general education for students saving money prior to transferring to a four-year university, and offers continuing education for people of all ages.

There are a variety of unique dining opportunities to choose from in and around Spring Hill. BB’s Grill and Bar is a local favorite, serving traditional grill fare made from scratch, in a friendly, modern atmosphere, perfect for large gatherings or dinner for two. K & M Bar-B-Q is another Spring Hill culinary mainstay, serving up great barbeque at their place or yours if you choose them for catering. Of course, Spring Hill has familiar favorites as well such as Sonic Drive-In and Gambino’s Pizza.
