University of Missouri - Kansas City also nearby area - also serves the area for thousands of students for daytime, evening & weekend class.
University of KS has the Edwards campus in Overland Park offering undergraduate and graduate programs for the working students. Also the KU Medical Center is affiliated with the campus. William Jewell College was found in 1849 with baptist affiliated liberal arts college. Oxbridge Honors Program features tutorial majors and overseas study in England. It has been chosen for inclusion in "Colleges of Distinction"
